The October Autocross school is open to drivers of all skill levels and builds on the foundations covered in prior SDR novice schools. Whether you're refining fundamentals or pushing toward more advanced technique, there's something here for you.
The day centers on three core skills:
- Car Placement – putting the car exactly where it needs to be through each element
- Looking Ahead / Car Control – reading the course early and staying in control at the limit
- Putting It All Together – combining placement, vision, and control into smooth, consistent runs
Format
We'll run a Run – Rest – Work structure throughout the day. There will be 6 driving sessions on a full course (20+ runs). Instructors also rotate each session so you're getting new feedback each session.
No Timing
This is a technique-focused school — there's no timing. The goal is to build skill and understanding, not chase the clock.
What to Bring
- Please bring your own lunch
- SCCA approved helmet, if you have one
- Regular autocross gear: approprate footwear, hat, sunscreen, water, chair, etc.
Driver Entry Fee: $159
Attendance is limited to 36 entrants.
Registrations above the attendance limit will be wait-listed and notified of any cancellations.
