DRIVE THE HIGH COUNTRY, November 14, 2026
WHAT:
An SCCA-Sanctioned Regional Tour RoadRally in Monte Carlo format with all Checkpoints listed in the route instructions and all Checkpoint times given. There will be no assigned average speeds to maintain. Creeping and/or stopping will be allowed without penalty. Just follow the directions until you find a Checkpoint and then pace yourself into the Checkpoint sign at exactly your correct time for a perfect zero every time!! Lowest score wins. All roads will be paved and public. Events will run rain or shine. These events are NOT races. They are contests of precise driving and accurate navigation.

Competitors can check-in and receive their Route Instructions starting at 8:30 a.m.
First car out at 10:01 a.m. Cars run one minute apart.

START: Bob's Big Boy, 4211 W Riverside Dr, Burbank, CA 91505
FINISH: Baracoa Cuban Restaurant, 853 Auto Center Dr Ste f, Palmdale, CA 93551
LENGTH:
The rally will cover approximately 111 miles in under 4 hours on fun-to-drive, scenic roads following legal speed limits. There will be a 40 minute break about halfway through the rally.

Please take a few minutes to download and read the General Instructions. They are the basis for all of the Route Instructions. They explain the terminology, and describe the details of the instructed actions (turns, etc.) that will be in the Route Instructions. Knowing what these things mean will GREATLY enhance your enjoyment of this event.
Each vehicle MUST have at least two participants, a driver and a navigator. Passengers are allowed, but no more than can be safely carried in the vehicle and they must sign the event waiver.
PRICE:
The entry fee is $35 per car. The driver or navigator must be an SCCA member, however weekend memberships can be purchased for $20 which can be credited towards a full membership.

AWARDS:
Trophies awarded to the top finishers in each class at the finish. Results will be posted online following the event.
This rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone. Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or https://richtarally.com/. There is no need for additional timing equipment or clocks - your Official Time shows in the app!
